Using furosemide to treat severe ascites

Can I say that the A&E at Queens Romford is brilliant. Top job NHS. Rung 111. Told them my symptoms and high temperature. Told to go and walk in at Queens hospital. Explained to the doctor that in the past 4 weeks I’ve had 2 lots of anti biotics for chest infection and it’s not got better and my temperature is really high and has been for last few days and that I’ve just carried on with my normal day & work. Had a scan on my lungs, told me I still have a bad sinus & chest infection. Told me I need to have some time off work and relax for a few days and sorted out another appointment with my GP to get correct antibiotics as last two lots obviously haven’t worked. Explained to me that I need to take paracetamol to get me temperature down. So I’ve booked a day off work tomorrow and fingers crossed I’ll be 100% by Wednesday. Not had a Monday off work in ages!! Happy Sunday you lovely lot. Bosh❤️

So what do NHS managers do? They manage the estates, the waiting lists, the IT, the discharge pathways, the hold ups in certain departments, the beds, staff welfare….. the list goes on. They allow the NHS to function so doctors and nurses can get on with treating patients 4/8
