By the time this is up and running (assuming they get the funding), electric vehicles will be basically hands-free driving from point-to-point. Driving will be much more relaxing.
Not only will the HSR cost another $125b (plus) to finish, it will never make a single cent in profit, it will always burn cash and, since it’s California, it’s employee basis will be predominantly minorities so nobody will ever push to eliminate it.
It’s a waste.

I don’t really care that he’s gay. Lindsey Graham is probably gay and yet Trump keeps him close to his hip. There are certainly many Conservative people who are gay or bi. I don’t judge what consenting adults do in their bedrooms. I know this, Scott Presler has worked his tail off trying to elect true Conservatives and for that I applaud him, he’s better than 99% of people who claim to be Conservative but do nothing but sit on Fox News all day. I want people of action, Scott is a person of action.

I find it amazing that Conservatives ridicule a gay man who is actually a Conservative. Frankly, I accept that there is a certain percentage of the population that is gay and I don’t judge what consenting adults do in their bedrooms.
I’ve never met him but he’s working harder than 99% of “Conservatives” out there to elect Conservatives.

𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: One of the NFL’s first female referees Robin DeLorenzo is suing the league after being fired last year alleging gender-based scrutiny, humiliation, and unequal treatment during her time as a referee.
DeLorenzo says she was “graded through a system built and controlled by men who had fixated on her gender from day one,” and that she was “denied the support and development routinely afforded to male officials.”
Robin is seeking unspecified compensatory and punitive damages, as well as reinstatement to her role as an NFL referee.
The NFL called the allegations “baseless” in an email.
