We had so much fun today celebrating International Walk to School Day at #WestlakeCharter with our friends from @JibeWithUs & @GoodDaySac. We walked together, we danced with the DJ, and we broadcast all the excitement on live tv! This was epic! youtu.be/BXNrFk-V4dw

During the last two weeks, every student has had a turn to be the “Explorer of the Day.” They helped with classroom jobs and their classmates wrote special notes for them to take home. #WCSJoyfulLearning #WestlakeCharter #FirstGrade

Sitting in a tiny desk this morning I got to experience our, “Whole School Morning Meeting,” in an amazing first grade classroom at #WestlakeCharter! Students and staff celebrated our core values and one another across every grade level all via Google Meet! It was Epic!

For my 50th birthday this week, my incredibly thoughtful admin team reproduced the “Things Hamilton taught me,” poster with things they said they learned from me, along with tickets for the show. I blamed allergies for the tear in my eye. I am so #grateful for these people.

For months we watched the mama duck sit on these eggs, in the bushes, just outside a third grade classroom at #WestlakeCharter. Then on promotion day they hatched and made a grand parade right through the ceremony!
