@rosemeyer1939 @gosforthandy @Theothebald like with many things, unfortunately the councils across the UK will fail at setting up good charging infrastructure and waste a lot of money trying- the private sector’s charging network is growing rapidly. Also, look at how many have been installed vs a few being removed.

@TeamCarbide @gosforthandy @Theothebald In some places, yeah, but where I live, the number of local chargers has gone down after the council (Sefton) removed theirs from council car parks. Asda, as far as I can tell, removed theirs too.

@gosforthandy @Theothebald Download zap map and have a look at whats local- the charging infrastructure around the uk is a lot better these days than it was just 2 years ago.

When we have long dark #Orkney days in winter with little solar, the @myenergiuk eddi, zappi, & App, enable us to fully use @OctopusEnergy cheap overnight tariff to fill our EV, @SunampLtd heat batties & @Pylontech1 storage batteries. Be smarter with energy.

@TeamCarbide Difficult to say without seeing the brackets etc. but I'd probably go for a similar approach. I've had success with wall bolts in thermalite but haven't accurately tested load. 👍

What's your favourite fixing for thermalite / aircrete blocks? Not necessarily dot & dab. What's your go-to fixing? Any novel suggestions might end up on a Test Tuesday at some point! 👍😁
