Currently we have been working on the sequel Code UltraViolet, however at the moment we are in the process of moving and remodeling a new studio/office space and so things are moving a bit slow until we get everything moved and finished up 😇 We are hoping to have a trailer for it sometime this summer or fall depending on how quickly we get into the new space 😇

The game will pop up a objective in the top left of the screen if it is the first time the player has been told something relevant to the plot or story, but this is more of just a title card just saying for example, “escape facility”. This is all that will be said or shown, the rest is up to the player. The map in the game has most rooms labeled and some special icons for other areas, the map is meant to help but not be something you ultimately rely on, learning the areas is a better way to go. So yes, this minimal way of doing things is intentional and amplifies the game’s tense and isolated feel 😇

@TeamKillMedia Okay but the popping up to tell me what my next obj is what I'm confused about. Nothing has shown up. So this is intentional? I thought it was just another bug. The only things that show up on the map are the save areas.

@TeamKillMedia Am I missing something? Jason told me twice now in the game that he would mark my map to let me know what my next obj is, but both times I did not see anything. To get my suit, I just had to take a guess that it would be in the RnD area.

Sorry for the delay in my response, we are in the middle of remodeling our new studio/office. The unlocks are usable in both the extinctions mode as well as the main game as soon as they are unlocked. The flintlock cheat gun will show up in the dressing room on the couch if you don’t have it already in your inventory. 😇 And the new outfits are in the dressing room as usual 😇 The infinite ammo cheat is in the main and pause menu.

We currently have 3 projects in the works Code Ultraviolet and then 2 we have not yet announced. We are fully adapting our development to go forward using the World Partition system in Unreal Engine for the loading and unload of the game world areas, allowing us to expand to open world sized game worlds. We are also getting into the PCG stuff to help scatter things throughout the worlds we build now, specifically stuff like grass, trees, rocks… most of the small stuff while the big or defining stuff is done by hand. Along with that using the Nanite Foliage with the new Voxel LOD type is pretty amazing and allows for a ton of foliage on screen at once. These are the major things so far, right now we are building out the world for UV while the other 2 projects are being prepared to enter production. Overall so far, the jump to an open world map has definitely been different and there are many different ways you have to do things but I wouldn’t consider it anymore difficult than our level design before, just a different way of doing it 😇 It’s very exciting, when we show some of our new projects off, I think everyone will be very excited to see what is coming 😎
