gm Maybe this is not unique to Crypto Twitter.. But I see these takes of people who have "made it" from making some good trades, and I wonder if they have ever sat back to think about what they are actually saying. I feel compelled to remind you that not everyone is going to make it here. That is not how this game works. This is and always will be a zero sum game. Your goal should not be to get rich here. But to make enough money to make a positive impact on your life. Some will get rich. But some people also win the lotto. Which is also a zero sum game. Nearly all the lotto players lose, while one person walks away a millionaire. No difference here. In order for one person to make a million on a memecoin, a bunch of people will have to lose their money. Because the number will not always go up. And for most, that number will go to zero. The point of this rant is simple. There is nothing wrong with working a 9-5 job. Owning a house. Starting a family. And not wrapping your self-worth in whether or not you made it gambling amongst a bunch of degenerates. We are all here to make money. We are not all going to make life changing money. Lesson in there.

Against prevalent beliefs in the crypto industry, I think trading sessions are a feature, not a bug. 1) It's technically useful to have scheduled downtime for a whole swatch of reasons, having to do with general housekeeping: committing states, cleaning up logs, etc. 2) It increases costs for liquidity providers and thus decreases liquidity. 3) Benefits are minimal, the economic case for it would be that passive investors have sudden needs to alter their portfolio composition. Active traders sure do, but to make a case that there's economic value, you'd have to make the case it's valuable for a bunch of people generally holding the market portfolio.
