@WSJ Fitness tracker are like cameras the best one is the one on you.
The accuracy is a fallacy where precision matters not. 500 extra steps? What does that mean ? And is it compared to someone actually counting? It's all statistical ranges and estimates. Bottom line its directional.

I don’t think most people realize how utterly strange it is that Google does not have an AI harness that is competing with OpenAI and Anthropic.
Their ineptitude at product management has now gone from hobbling a company that was guaranteed to win to exposing it to existential risk.
This is a company worth trillions of dollars that is medically unable to ship a product.
Using any of their services as an administrator is the same type of torture that it was 15 years ago.
Google’s inability to fix this should be studied in business books for decades to come. Starting now.
It is the single strangest thing I’ve ever seen in business. They literally invented modern AI, and all they have to show for it is annoying pop-ups in Gmail and Google Docs that make everyone want to vibe code an alternative.
The best evidence that ASI already exists is a theory that it’s at work inside of Google already, making sure they lose.
What an absolute abomination.

Amazon Prime costs $139/year.
Most members use 2 features: free shipping and Prime Video.
That's a $139 subscription doing the job of a $5.99 delivery fee.
J.P. Morgan estimates the actual value of Prime benefits at approximately $1,430/year more
than 10x the membership cost. But most of that value sits unclaimed behind tabs, menus,
and pages 200 million members have never opened.
And 4 of those benefits expire monthly. If you don't claim them by the end of the month,
they're gone. Amazon resets the clock. You paid for them. You lost them.
Amazon is counting on you not knowing.
Here are the 12 Prime benefits most members have never activated including the 4 that
vanish every 30 days 🧵
