How do you repay undeclared funds, and what BoP code are you going to use for SARB to approve the transaction?
Clement Manyathela@TheRealClementM

Vincent Magwenya on #TheCMShow says he doesn’t know if President has paid back the $580 000 to the Sudanese business man.He says he will go check. In 2024 the President told me on the show that the farm is in process of paying back money. Mustafa told Sky News he wanted a refund.

Cyril won't resign. That keeps the lunatic left out of the Union Buildings, for now. But it's increasingly clear that the ANC needs to split, with the centrists aligning/merging with the DA to create a new political alignment. How that happens is anyone's guess...

The ANC will never ever compromise on Transformation, if the President has to go, they will release him. The DA must not think they can use this to their advantage.

We will NOT be bullied!! Whether it’s by the West or our African compatriots. South Africa is not a xenophobic country. We have our own problems in this country stemming from inequality and high levels of crime but we refuse to be scapegoats for sister African countries. All of us must resolve our challenges which push people away from their native countries to seek opportunity elsewhere. As for South Africa, in the words of President @CyrilRamaphosa .., “We are a people who live the value of Ubuntu. We should never allow the legitimate concerns of our communities about illegal immigration to breed prejudice against our fellow Africans. We must not allow these concerns to give rise to Xenophobia directed towards people from other African countries or any other parts of the world. Instead we must insist that the law be upheld and enforced . That is why we are clamping down on illegal migration and on businesses that flout our laws by hiring undocumented persons at the expense of our citizens. We will not allow people to take the law into their own hands . We extend hospitality to those who are guests in our country with the expectation that generosity is honoured with respect for our society and its laws”
Sam Okudzeto Ablakwa@S_OkudzetoAblak

The Government of Ghana has formally written to the African Union requesting that the South African xenophobic attacks targeted at Africans be placed on the agenda at the upcoming Mid-Year Coordination Meeting to be attended by Heads of State and Government.

We know the agenda, the agenda is to discourage black and coloureds to stay at home so that white racists get the majority vote to continue with systematic apartheid and exclusion of blacks from the economy 💯🤞 Black people must never stop voting because if they do, they will be handing power to racists and that is dangerous

Today I had a very constructive meeting with former President Jacob Zuma in Durban. We discussed issues such as the value of mother tongue education, the promotion of mutual recognition and respect between cultural communities, agricultural development in traditional communities, and Section 235 of the South African Constitution. More meetings will follow. As a civil society organisation @afriforum remains outside of party politics. We are working for the next generation rather than the next election. In securing a better future for the next generation, we are committed to engaging with all stakeholders in South Africa, even though we may differ on certain issues. We are committed to helping find solutions to the challenges the country and all its people face.

As a political organisation battling a credibility crisis, the African National Congress continues to behave as though reputational damage is a peripheral issue rather than an existential one. It is difficult to understand why the party does not adopt a clean, non-negotiable rule that states any member credibly implicated in wrongdoing gets removed immediately with no debate, no delays and is only reinstated once formally cleared. This should not be seen as punishment or an infringement of someone’s rights , but as a basic act of institutional self-respect. I’m aware of the ‘step-aside’ rule that currently exists but seldom enforced. Take the so-called “Chinese car minder” saga around the Women’s League President. The clumsy optics alone should have triggered an immediate leave of absence. Instead the party is quiet and it is business as usual for the lady save for parliament that has since instituted an investigation on the salary being shared in half with the said Ministers daughter who is also alleged to have been a babysitter of one of the two Chinese cars. The ANC appears more concerned with internal sensitivities than with the message it sends to the public that is already fatigued by political scandals. Then you have the case of Senzo Mchunu; it took nearly a month to relieve him of official duties, and even then, the separation is partial. He remains active within party structures while under a gigantic cloud. One is left asking; what exactly is the threshold for decisive action? This is where the ANC continues to misread the room. South Africans are not demanding perfection; they are demanding consequence management . A visible, consistent standard that says: the country comes before the organisation and its individuals. There have been more than enough opportunities for the party to begin restoring trust and redeem itself. All it takes are simple procedural interventions that require no grand policy conference, no ideological overhaul. Just discipline. Just a willingness to act swiftly when the integrity of the institution is at stake. Iyahlebisa maan iANC. Kakhulu
