#sapsLIM Lephalale police request public assistance in tracing a 37-year-old female, Cynthia Kgwete believed to be able to assist in solving a fraud case. Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect allegedly posed as a client and applied for vehicle finance to purchase a Ford Ranger Double Cab on 02 February 2026. During the application process, the suspect submitted false documentation and further misrepresented her employment and income details to secure approval from the bank. The application was approved, and the bakkie was released to the suspect. It was also later discovered that a tracking device fitted to the vehicle was removed shortly after it left the dealership.
