@epolynya @RyanBerckmans It's hard to compare PoW vs PoS issuance, PoW has a much higher amount of forced selling. Something else to consider is PoS aligns incentives in a much better way and creates a long term buy pressure: buy tokens, stake and get a yield.

Ethereum's competitors already use proof of stake. In recent months, this huge cost advantage of theirs has helped them gain on ETH in a way that perceptually overstates confidence in these chains relative to ethereum. The merge fixes this, and our great teams are working on it!
