And finally, there’s three 50MP sensors for the Main, Periscope (3x optical zoom / 100x digital zoom) and Selfie camera along with an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and photos come out on a flagship-like level. There’s still the ZEISS partnership and we now finally have 4K60FPS video for the Main, Telephoto and Selfie sensors (1080P/30 for the ultrawide) 📸 The only thing keeping this $500 phone from being a “Flagship Killer” is the lack of wireless charging, eSIM support, an LTPO display and a flagship Chipset, but for this price, its hard to not be tempted 👀📲 Let me know your thoughts on the phone and be sure to check out more info on it here 👉 vivo.com/in/products/v70 #vivoV70 #vivoV70Series @Vivo_GLOBAL

The vivo V70 recently launched globally with a starting price of around $500 🤑 I have the Golden Hour edition of the phone which has a matte finish that mimics the last hour before sunset ☀️ It looks fantastic and is soft to the touch while picking up zero fingerprints ☝️ It’s completely flat glass backplate matches its flat silver aluminum frame which has nice rounded corners for a more comfortable grip and it’s camera module matches the color of those side rails 🎨 The screen is also completely flat and boasts a 6.59” OLED display. It’s the perfect size, sitting between compact and large phones, and squeezes in a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and a crazy 5000-nits of peak brightness 🔆 Protecting all of this is certified 10-Facet drop resistance along with flagship-grade IP68 & IP69 dust and water resistance 💧 Speaking of “flagship”, the phone also includes a 3D Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner which requires just a tap to unlock and works with wet fingers 💦 It ships with OriginOS 6 skinned over Android 16 out the box which has loads of customisations, features, fluid motion and animations, origin island for easier multitasking and even works hand in hand with iOS and MacOS devices. Vivo are promising 4 years of major Android updates and 6 years of security patches 👏 To power all of this is a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 CPU paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, and to keep it all running is a huge 6500mAh battery with fast 90 watt wired charging 🔌🔋

The POCO M8 series just launched & they pack a serious punch for their price 🤌 So… which is best for you? 🤔 I have the M8 in green & the M8 Pro in silver. They look similar to each other, but quite different from last year’s models. I prefer the Pro’s more squared off rails and more subtle curves, especially when it comes to the screen 📲 The Pro has a larger display with more pixels & twice the touch sampling rate at 480Hz. They both share the same 120Hz refresh rate, 3200 nits of peak brightness & 3840Hz PWM dimming. The standard M8 is a lot thinner, but only the Pro has an IP68 water certification & Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protecting its screen 💪 Neither phone has eSIM support & they come with Android 15 (not 16) out the box. However, they’ll both be getting 4 years of major Android updates (16 being the first), and both pack in NFC & IR blasters. Both have dual speakers, but the Pro’s audio is significantly better as it matches the flagship F8 Pro 🔊 I also noticed that the Pro’s haptic feedback is much better. The Pro offers more RAM (8 vs 12GB), a much faster CPU (Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 vs 7s Gen 4), an IceLoop Cooling System, faster charging (45W vs 100W) & a much larger battery (5520mAh vs 6500mAh) 🔋 To top things off, the Pro has a much better main camera (same as the flagship F8 Pro), has an ultrawide sensor (standard M8 lacks this) & has a better selfie camera 📸 To be honest, unless you can’t afford an extra $70, the M8 Pro is a no-brainer 🤪 The POCO M8 starts at $229 & the M8 Pro at $299, but early bird specials drop those prices by 20 bucks.
