The framework decision is less important than the architecture decision. Static-first + edge deployment wins for marketing sites regardless of which SSG you use. Pick Astro. Or Hugo. Or Eleventy. Just commit to the model.

When we'd pick Next.js: authenticated routes, real-time data, user-specific content, server actions, or when the site is the product. SSG in Next is fine — but if the whole thing is static, Astro is simpler and faster.
