Another underrated platform to land remote jobs? Facebook. Most people scroll, Smart people network. If you’re serious about remote work, use this 4-step system: 1. Join niche groups — not generic “remote jobs” groups. Be specific to your skill (automation, data, design, dev, etc). That’s where real conversations and hidden opportunities live. 2. Turn your profile into a landing page. Clear headline, What you do, Who you help and also Proof of work. When someone clicks your name, it should answer: “Why should I hire you?” 3. Engage daily before you pitch. Comment thoughtfully. Answer questions. Add value. Visibility builds familiarity. Familiarity builds trust. 4. DM with context, not desperation. Reference their post, be specific and offer value. Nobody responds to “Hi, I need a job.” People respond to relevance. Remote hiring is relationship-driven, not application-driven. If you’re only applying and not networking, you’re leaving opportunities on the table.

𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲: 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮. Before I wrote a single transformation: → Currency symbols corrupted at byte level → 23 different names for 6 product categories → Dates stored in 4 different formats across both files → Mobile app hiding promo discounts inside gross totals with no separate column The data had been “working” for two years. 𝗟𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗲: 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴. So I built a proper pipeline: → Bronze — raw ingestion, nothing touched, every column NVARCHAR → Silver — cleaned, typed, deduplicated, standardised → Gold — star schema, surrogate keys, USD conversion, analytical flags 76,685 order lines. Two messy sources. One unified fact table. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀. → RFM segmentation — 22,000+ customers scored and labelled → Market basket — what website customers actually buy together → Promo effectiveness — the discounts weren’t moving AOV. At all. → $500K ad spend recommendation — every dollar backed by two years of revenue data 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀: ✅ $9.48M revenue modelled ✅ 7 dimension tables, 1 fact table ✅ 4 analytical deliverables ✅ Full Analytical Engineering project The warehouse wasn’t the hard part. Hey #Datafam I'm excited to announce that I started March 2026 as a data analysis tutor at Skills to Career. We've started from the very beginning with the Microsoft Excel. During the weekend, we started with introduction to Data , Data Analysis then Excel fundamentals. We covered the workbook → worksheet, data types → rows → columns → cells →Excel interface → Basic formatting in Excel →Cell Referencing where we discussed about absolute, relative and mixed reference and then Excel table.
