I recently had the honor of presenting in Sweden at the iconic Strawberry Arena, with over 12,000 people passing through. Sharing the stage with legendary names like Richard Branson and Tony Hawk was incredible—but even more so was the opportunity to speak on the theme: ‘Becoming the Best in the World.’ @techarenan 2025 explored this journey from every angle—business, sustainability, sports, culture, policy, and investment. The most successful leaders and companies understand that wins and failures are all part of the path to greatness. I’ve been speaking globally for over a decade, and what stands out the most isn’t just the experiences I share—it’s the impact they have. Although my world of extreme adventure is unique, the lessons I’ve learned apply to anyone willing to grow. Turning my passion into a career hasn’t been easy. I’ve faced setbacks, rejections, and hurdles. But my training ground wasn’t in an office—it was in the jungles, deserts, and mountains, attempting world-first expeditions. The lessons I share on stage come from real, life-or-death situations. They’re tested, they’re proven, and that’s what makes them resonate so deeply. It’s not just about adventure—it’s about mindset, resilience, and pushing beyond what you thought was possible. And if there’s one thing I want people to take away from my talks, it’s that the same principles that drive world-first achievements can drive success in any field. No matter the challenge, the path to greatness starts with the decision to keep moving forward.

That’s a wrap!! Thank you, Sweden 🇸🇪💙 Just finished speaking at @Techarenan with over 12,000+ attendees coming through the doors! Sharing the arena with @richardbranson, @tonyhawk, @StevenBartlett, @MarinSanna, Marc Randolph and many other legends. What I really enjoyed about this on-stage conversation was the quality of questions and the lessons I was able to share—not just in an adventure sense, but from a business perspective. I spoke about the immense difficulties, constant rejections, and the challenge of carving out a career in an industry with little to no financial backing—unlike F1, Tennis, Football, and other well-funded sports. This is one of the toughest industries to crack, but I never gave up. No excuses. I believed that if you become the best at ANYTHING, there’s always a way to make a living. I went from earning £3,000 a year, living with my parents three world records deep, holding onto the dream for over half a decade….. to securing a multimillion-dollar TV deal in 2020. One of the questions I was asked: What does it mean to be the best? My answer: It’s not necessarily about being the best—it’s about being the best version of yourself. It’s about holding onto your vision, focusing on the details, and doing the monotonous work nobody wants to do. Rejections? Just noise. Failures? Just stepping stones. Everything seems impossible until you break it down and analyze every step. It’s the small, unseen intricacies that separate you from the average—and elevate you to the best. 📷: Camilla Svensk
