As Attorney General, I led a Grand Jury investigation that uncovered thousands of cases of sexual assault, identified hundreds of predator priests, and exposed a coverup that went all the way to the Vatican. Yesterday, the Pennsylvania State Police charged another predator priest with horrific crimes — where once again, an authority figure weaponized religion and power to abuse. The many survivors I have met over the years and the victims who came forward in this case have shown remarkable courage in sharing their truths.
