Organizational structure, like any structure, exists to SUPPORT staff...not hold them hostage to outmoded job descriptions and rigid bureaucracy. Success is found by increasing autonomy and empowering staff to find purpose through mastery of what they are best at.

Other people using "your" ideas without giving you credit—or even knowing they were originally your ideas—is both frustrating and also perhaps the clearest indicator of actual influence in the world.

Success favors those who produce more than those who perfect.

Mastery is practice. Mastery is staying on the path. “How long will it take me to master _________?” “How long do you expect to live?” is the only true response.

Things always take longer to happen than we think they should. Don't give-up - survive the dip - stay in the game - grow past your plateau. Most "overnight successes" are 10+ years in the making.
