The women of The View have a full MELTDOWN over Spencer Pratt — with Joy Behar claiming Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass is more qualified for the job because she has a “JFK Profile in Courage Award.”
Joy Behar: “So Karen Bass has a JFK Profile in Courage Award. She navigated California through the worst economic crisis since the depression. Spencer Pratt was Snapchatter of the Year at the 2018 Shorty Awards.”
Sunny Hostin: “It’s the second-largest city budget in the country, and he is not qualified for it. And we see what happens when people are not qualified for their jobs!”
“Spencer Pratt is now comparing himself to president [Barack] Obama, and he said, ‘I have two awards from my community. President Obama didn’t even have any awards when he was a community organizer. He was able to become a senator and then a president for eight years. So, I feel like him and I have the same experience.’”
“And Spencer Pratt, you don’t have the same experience. You don’t have a law degree from Harvard Law School. You don’t — you were not a senator. And there are baby steps you can take, like why not run for city council and learn about the city budget, and then maybe become president of the city council, and then maybe become the mayor?”
Sara Haines: “Pushing back on your qualifications thing, again, back to Congress, look at all the qualified professional politicians with all the legal degrees and Ivy Leagues who just bent the knee and were complicit. I’d much rather have someone with less qualifications and more, like, chutzpah.”
Alyssa Farah Griffin: “I don’t think a law degree makes you more qualified.”

Breaking: Muslim terrorists just stormed a Christian village in Nigeria and unleashed pure demonic savagery on innocent families who couldn’t run fast enough to escape.
They captured pregnant women and hacked their bellies open with machetes — forcing the young women to witness their own unborn babies die right in front of them as they succumbed to fatal stab wounds.
All because they were Christians who refused to convert to Islam.
No one in the international community, UN, EU, ICC, or ICJ seems to care. Not even Christian leaders in the West.
Please pray for the persecuted Christians in Nigeria.

KeyBryan Hayes is the worst Reds front office move of my life. Why?
Reds acquired KeyBryan Hayes on July 30th, 2025. At the time they were 57-52, 3 games out of a playoff spot. They were below average in nearly every offensive category at the time but for context they were 22nd in baseball in wRC+. They answered those qualms by trading for Hayes (among others).
At the time of the trade here is where he ranked amongst qualified 3B.
AVG: 13/16
OBP: 16/16
SLG: 16/16
OPS: 16/16
wRC+: 16/16
K%: 11/16
BB%: 16/16
And you are probably thinking to yourself, well, he must have just been having a really down year. Had to be a buy low, right? NOPE.
2024 (did qualify numbers so ranked amongst guys with 350 PA’s):
AVG: 26/34
OBP: 30/34
SLG: 34/34
OPS: 34/34
wRC+: 34/34
K%: 22/34
BB%: 25/34
2023:
AVG: 5/21
OBP: 20/21
SLG: 12/21
OPS: 14/21
wRC+: 17/21
K%: 8/21
BB%: 21/21
2022:
AVG: 16/22
OBP: 18/22
SLG: 22/22
OPS: 22/22
wRC+: 22/22
K%: 13/22
BB%: 14/22
We are not just talking about a bad offensive player. We are talking about a guy who for 3.5 years of professional baseball was the worst offensive player at his position in the sport AND IT WASN’T EVEN CLOSE.
He would be considered a bad acquisition if he was being paid $500,000 and you got him for a bucket of balls from the Florence Freedom. But instead? He’s your 4th highest paid player on this years roster and you gave up a top 10 prospect to get him! Surely, this signing won’t impact the future tho. WRONG AGAIN!
Only Hunter Greene has more future money on the books than the 29 million (assuming team option is declined) KeyBryan Hayes is owed.
It was/remains a baffling move. There is no amount of defense that makes this move worth it. TJ Friedl is still playing CF because they traded for KeyBryan Hayes. The outfield was not addressed because of KeyBryan Hayes. Matt McLain has zero pressure because of KeyBryan Hayes. We are not yet 100 games into his Reds tenure and it is already an unequivocal failure. The manager is debating pinch hitting for the guy in the 4TH INNING OF MAY BASEBALL GAMES.

Everybody remembers the headlines and the viral videos from last July at Fourth and Elm that gave the Queen City the national spotlight—and not in a good way.
Everybody also remembers City Hall clutching their pearls and declaring that it was only a “brawl,” and that the victim of the beatdown had better be charged too—or else.
But just yesterday? Quietly…and behind courtroom walls…five defendants were given plea deals—Misdemeanors in place of Felonies.
The public watched Alex Tchervinski get swarmed, stomped, and kicked in the head on asphalt in the middle of Downtown Cincinnati. They watched Holly get punched unconscious in front of a crowd—while people stood there recording it on their phones, to post to their socials. We broke that story. The entire Country saw it. Politicians used it. Activists used it. Media outlets used it. City Hall used it.
And after all the screaming about accountability?
Reduced charges and plea deals. Amazing how that works.
But let’s talk about the part people REALLY have not forgotten.
While the public was watching Alex Tchervinski get beaten in the street on viral videos, City Hall and the Law Director’s Office were fighting to charge HIM too—the victim.
After everything people watched with their own eyes…after the national outrage…after the endless speeches about violence and safety…the City still somehow found the energy to focus on charging the victim.
That alone told people everything they needed to know about the mindset operating behind the scenes.
Because instead of projecting strength and accountability, the City looked desperate to manufacture “balance” in a situation where the public had already drawn its own conclusions from the footage. The narrative mattered more than the reality. The optics mattered more than what people could plainly see, with their own freaking eyes.
This is exactly why people lose faith in the system. Not just because of plea deals…those happen more and more in Hamilton County—every, single, day.
According to City Hall, this fight was apparently serious enough to help justify forcing out a Police Chief—but not serious enough to consistently prosecute at the level the public was originally led to believe was coming. Actual Justice for the victims.
“There is something in the chamber that is coming if there isn’t a move to justice.”
-Cincinnati Councilman Scotty Johnson, Monday, August 11, 2025.
Now just imagine if the race of the victims and assailants were swapped…imagine a large, violent group of White men and women jumped a Black man and woman…imagine they stomped their male victim’s head in the pavement…imagine they knocked the woman out cold. Imagine that made national news with viral videos—and then imagine a White, City Councilman giving the same quote to the media:
“There is something in the chamber that is coming if there isn’t a move to justice.”
Now imagine that the City charged the Black, male victim with assault…let him sweat for over half of a year, before dismissing the charges—but then pled down 5 of the White attackers from Felonies to Misdemeanors…what do you think would be happening in our City streets right now?
We are not looking for racist comments—in fact, we strongly advise against it. We are trying to make a point—it doesn’t matter what the skin color of the victims are…Black, White or Brown.
Yet it does appear to matter what the skin color of violent criminals in our City are…and if their skin color is anything but White—it’s gonna be alright…plea deals for everyone.
Pander, pander, pander…spin, spin, spin. It’s always about the optics folks—and once again…Lady Justice wept.

The Side B framework tells men their homosexual desires are not sinful.
And a man who believes his that desire is not sinful has no reason to fight it. If he makes it his identity, he has every reason to befriend it, explore it, protect it from outside interference. You cannot fight an enemy you've been told is a friend.

@TNTJohn1717 The question and answer to, "What shall I do to inherit eternal life" comes from Luke, not Mark as she says

🚨‼️This is not Christianity with a broader door. This is unbelief wearing a robe.
Jesus did not say, “I am one of the ways.” He said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” That is not unclear. That is not symbolic fog. That is a locked door with one key, and the key is Christ.
The apostles did not preach “many valid religions.” Peter said, “Neither is there salvation in any other.” Paul said there is “one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” John said, “He that hath not the Son of God hath not life.”
A preacher who denies the exclusivity of Jesus Christ is not making the faith more loving. She is making the cross unnecessary, the blood optional, the resurrection irrelevant, and the Bible meaningless. That is not ministry. That is spiritual malpractice.
Protestia@Protestia
"(Saying) you have to claim Jesus as your Lord and Savior or you won't get to heaven makes no sense." Rev. Anna Flowers of the United Church in Walpole argues that "I am the way, the truth and the life" is NOT literal, & that there are many valid religions and ways to Jesus.

For a change of pace…
The church my family has been attending for the past couple years isn’t something I’m happy with.
The pastor has fully embraced “prosperity preaching” and spends entire sermons clubbing you over the head to tithe. I seriously feel like he’s a bad month away from his own “lock the doors” moment.
His wife, the “co-pastor,” literally turned her back on me when I was going through a rough period, both personally and professionally.
Honestly, growing up, I never had a good church relationship. There was a LOT of bad disguised as good. The older I get, the more I realize how toxic that environment was.
For my little girl, I want her to grow up in faith. I want her to be a true believer in the Word. I want her to enjoy Christ and a relationship with Him. I only hope we can find a really good church in Florida that can nurture all of it.
Y’all pray for my family and I, please.

@MalcangiSarah The authenticity of the James ossuary is hotly debated because it was not found in sitsu. It was in the possession of antiquity collector Obed Golan.

The events of Saturday night were horrifying. It is difficult to believe that this is the third time President Trump has faced an assassination attempt.
I am thankful for the many law enforcement officers who responded, in particular those who secured the shooter before he could harm the president or anyone else at the event.
Political violence is never the answer, and it must end.
