@TomBlockBlend @GriftReport That snapw is Snape. His color has zero significance at all book versus movie It doesn't matter It has no historical context If it did I would agree with you It doesn't matter in the next 20 years you could be agent it wouldn't matter He's not Prince Harry lol

@TeddyCryptic @GriftReport Evidence of fucking what exactly? That a black Snape would be better than the original book and movie version? And please don’t tell me you’re still stuck on my basketball example, because if that’s the case, I’m not really feeling this conversation anymore. 🤣

@TeddyCryptic @GriftReport I applaud anyone who succeeds in life, no matter what color skin they have. If colored people perform better, then they should get the jobs, so don’t say that about me. I love every good person in this world.

@TomBlockBlend @GriftReport You make it seem like this is the first time. You really don't know? King Kong, The mummy movies both color and black and white? This isn't new. Everything was fine for over 100 years of cinema until people of color started doing lol

@TeddyCryptic @GriftReport Black people are free to create their own original work, so why does Hollywood feel the need to replace white actors with black ones? And to insert black actors into stories that have a traditionally white background and culture, what is the message here?

@TomBlockBlend @GriftReport That depends on what you mean by good actors and what movie your are speaking of. Conservatives are free to make their own films if they have an issue with it. Do as they please in my eyes. But my country still largely pretends racism doesn't exist. And I remember old Hollywood

Let’s agree to disagree. Also, my point is not about DEI in workplaces, because I couldn’t care one bit about that at all. It’s about entertainment. When you apply DEI or “woke” policies there, you often end up scrapping good actors who would be perfect for a role just to meet certain criteria or win awards like the Oscars. Because if you’re not diverse enough, you might not get nominated at all.

@TomBlockBlend @GriftReport Hiring someone in basketball is based on stats not because of the color of your skin. You may see a lot of African Americans in sports because it's a cultural ordeal for many. Especially Nigerian Americans

It’s just an example, mate, not a new argument or a statement I made. ^^ The point is that you hire the best person for the job and position. In basketball, it might usually be tall black players, but I don’t really follow basketball, so it could be that others perform better now, and then you would pick short Chinese people instead. ^^

@TomBlockBlend @GriftReport It is hiring the best people there's plenty of evidence of it. Without it white people would just dominate the job markets like they're already doing right now. They make up the vast majority of population when it comes to the United States for now

DEI is clearly not about hiring the best people, and it’s definitely not about making things “fair.” If it were, then I would support it. But I still think people should be able to decide who is best for the job and who fits their team, not DEI rules. If people want to hire only Black people or only white people, I don’t care one bit.

@TomBlockBlend @GriftReport There's nothing that show that black players perform well based on the color of their skin. Culturally African Americans excelled at sports because they couldn't get into anywhere else. African Americans have a long history of being used for white entertainment music included

I never said people of color have no skills, it’s stupid to even bring that up because that’s clearly not the case. I think people should hire the best people for the job, regardless of color. It’s quite simple, actually. Like in basketball, if it shows that black players perform better overall, why would you apply DEI there and hire little Chinese fellas? They won’t, because it’s stupid. You hire the best people for the job.

@TomBlockBlend @GriftReport That's just another Jim Crow lie. Claiming that people of color don't have skills is ignoring the fact that racism is still very much alive and people don't want to hire people of color which is why it exists whether you're upset about that or not you best admit it now lol

If people think it’s alright to get help because of the color of their skin rather than their skills, then they should go for it and help themselves by all means. I don’t care about that, it doesn’t affect me at all. But when you apply that to entertainment like games and movies, then yeah, it just doesn’t work and produces terrible content.

@TeddyCryptic @GriftReport No, you said I don’t know the history, that’s something entirely different. ^^ DEI only helped white liberals feel important, and you know it, mate. I don’t even care about DEI in workplaces, but keep that out of entertainment because it produces terrible content.

@TomBlockBlend @GriftReport Sorry man but dei actually helps people of color get jobs because like I told you before slavery and segregation push them back 200 plus years. You may hate it but unfortunately because you admitted yourself you don't know the history you just result too pro Jim Crow arguments

It’s fine, because all these AAA game companies and Hollywood studios that used DEI and woke shite are dying or already dead. The movie companies were bought up by new owners, and people have lost interest in these AAA game companies. Other superior companies will just take over without the woke stuff, so yeah, you’re right in that sense. They'll be fine.

@TomBlockBlend @GriftReport There's no facets it's opinion. It your opinion they are destroyed. You often speak for everyone else for something that you personally dislike. That's a conservative mindset. Money wise they are up 12% from 2024 at 25 billion. They'll be fine

Facts say otherwise. The movie industry is clearly struggling because of decisions like this. So far, they’ve destroyed a bunch of movie franchises that would have printed money if they had followed the source material. But these producers always think they’re better than the people who actually created it.

@TomBlockBlend @GriftReport I don't think the destroy anything The point is is that the character is able to be any ethnic group and certain people have a problem with that. Like I said if it was a documentary about a true person it wouldn't make any sense to change their ethnicity.

The only reason you don’t think it’s important is because you don’t really care, buddy. That’s the problem with Hollywood nowadays, they keep catering to people who don’t care and don’t spend money on it. They had all these money-making machines, and they destroyed them with actions just like this. To me, swapping any iconic character is stupid. I would hate it if they did a race swap with Blade, for example.

@TomBlockBlend @GriftReport It's not important it's the character. Changes are going to be made and I'm sure if the series survives another hundred years would be unrecognizable. They told the stories in the movies and now this is a remake. You've had your white snape. We all did.

They do this with royalty and also with iconic movie characters like Snape. You can say it’s not important, but it adds up when you take a step back and look at how many changes they make. They don’t add interesting Black characters to stories, they just race-swap white ones. It’s fucking stupid.

@TomBlockBlend @GriftReport Now if this dude was the king of Scotland and some documentary you would have a heck of a point. But this dude in the book is just a white guy. And this guy in the show it's just a black guy that's it

Obviously, it matters to a lot of people. Even a lot of Black people don’t like it. Snape’s appearance is mentioned several times in the books, like four or five times. They said they wanted to make a more book-accurate show, so they lied and changed one of the most important characters in the story. We haven’t seen the show yet, but this is not a good start, especially when we are closing the chapter on these kinds of changes. Nobody likes them, and they only cater to a small group of people when they do this.

@TomBlockBlend @GriftReport Yes but it's not exclusive It never was. It was just described as a white dude not the prince of the United kingdoms. Just a white dude. The same people that are upset are the same people who are upset that the little mermaid was black.

@TomBlockBlend @GriftReport I could understand the argument if the person was of royal heritage of a white person. The book describes the person that's it. Not a prince of some European leanage or nothing just a white. Therefore him being black or Asian I don't think matters.

Mr. Heart is right. Sometimes the strongest strategy is patience. Let others rush, cut corners, and expose themselves to hacks and exploits. If, at the end of the day, PulseChain proves it can stand firm, secure and resilient, that’s where the real victory lies. Crypto history has a way of revealing shortcuts eventually. What’s rushed or compromised in one place will always surface somewhere else.
