You can shout and still have no grip over your men. You can walk in silently, and your troops will sit up immediately. No be by infantry voice o, na by carriage and leadership.

@JLoip7702 @xeyons I don’t exchange banter with disgruntled elements, an enemy of the system is a terrorist and should be treated as such.

When I was deployed for Operation Lafiya Dole in 2015, I was issued the new desert camouflage in December of that year. I left Maiduguri in May 2016 and we were asked to submit the uniforms back. I shock. Anybody should come and tackle what I just said. I am waiting.

One of the most powerful parts of the Armed Forces is Coursemate Spirit, strangers from different backgrounds surviving training hardships and forming bonds that turn them into family. Coursemates will literally go all out for each other even when it’s not convenient. Admirable!

There’s something about telling the truth. It doesn’t just bring peace. It spares you the need for a cover story and the stress of piling lies. I still don’t get how people prefer the chaos and drama that come with lying.

Lesson 2: The Most Powerful Capital is Trust My journey didn’t start with money — it started with trust. Trust was the seed that propelled everything else. Give young people trust, and they will surprise you. I was trusted, I repaid that trust.

I love assumptionists because they always give me a reason to prove I didn’t pick these pips off the ground. I sweated and trained for them, and I never fail to clear their doubts every single time

Sometimes when I read of miracles like Elijah calling down fire, Joshua commanding the sun to stand still, or Elisha calling out bears on the youths. I wonder if we have not grown spiritually enough to tap into that realm or if God just knows it would overwhelm my generation.
