Absolutely shit statement from one of the biggest Chels accounts here.
"Fabregas" - I want him to coach us one day but using him in the same sentence and context as Mourinho, Tuchel, Nagelsmann is wild.
I backed Maresca and I'll tell you with confidence that 90% of Maresca backers never said he was as good as pep.
The point was that Maresca was hiding the weakness of this group, and overachieving. Even the games he was losing were mostly one or two moments of problems caused by the players but Maresca made sure to have a structure in place and minimize those errors. Not saying he was faultless himself but he is one of the better coaches out there in the world right now. If he could achieve top 4 and CWC with this group of young players who are still learning and are mistake prone, he would do a lot better with a better group.
Rosenior on the other hand has no structure. It's chaotic. He exposes the weaknesses of the players too much. There's a reason Maresca didn't give too much attacking freedom to our players because he knew what would happen once we lose the ball.
The problem has always been the recruitment of players.
The fact that you mention Mourinho and Tuchel here makes me laugh given they would never work with this recruitment and young team.
People who like Maresca like him for what he did with this young group. If he's given a squad with quality and experience you think he won't do better than what he did at chelsea?

Replace Maresca with someone like Nagelsmann, Tuchel, Mourinho, Alonso, Fabregas. Nobody is gonna cry about the ex coach. But nope we seem to lower ourselves further under this model. No player or coach with common sense is gonna come near here.
