Virginia Democrats are arguing that Election Day is a single day under federal law, and therefore SCOTUS should overturn the VA Supreme Court's ruling.
If this is true, then early votes should not be counted in any state election in Virginia, because they were not cast pursuant to an election.

The Supreme Court overturned the will of the people but Black representation in our congressional delegation remains intact.
Much of the South won’t be so lucky. Many states will return to pre-Reconstruction era representation levels.
