@TegetSoDope

Habitual line stepper, cascading levels of absurdity, and Coors, the banquet beer. that's about all I have to say about the war in Vietnam.

NEW: Hundreds of thousands of dollars were stolen from NASCAR legend Greg Biffle's accounts very soon after he and his family died in a plane crash in North Carolina. Authorities now believe that the fraud and robbery may have been an "inside job." Biffle went viral during Hurricane Helene for helping stranded people. According to investigators, someone used Biffles' personal info to access his financial accounts and transferred funds. Almost immediately after the tragedy that killed Biffle, his wife, and his children, suspicious activity began taking place on his family's email accounts and bank accounts. This included changes to emails, phone numbers, and passwords, according to WSOC TV. Just hours after the plane crash, an email was sent to Biffle's email account that said: "I heard you're dead, rest in hell." His home was also robbed. $30,000 in cash, handguns, and NASCAR memorabilia were stolen. Detectives say that the burglary and fraud may have been coordinated and reliant on "insider" knowledge. According to surveillance footage, a woman is seen walking through his home. She appeared to know where the security cameras were placed. Detectives claim to have identified someone who matches the woman's description. She was reportedly identified during a celebration of life ceremony for the Biffle family. Insane how evil people can be.

Gotta be honest. The Knicks are garbage. But Jalen Johnson is soft. There’s no other way to put it. Not built for the moment. Better hope the Hawks land a top five pick because he is straight up scared

I'm confused as to what's going on with the vote totals in the poll. Last year's voting average in the poll was 24k votes. The year before that was 26k votes. The year before that was 21k votes. And THIS year's average until Martinsville a couple weeks ago was 19k votes. Suddenly though, Martinsville only got 9.8k votes. I posted about it and a lot of you said you didn't see it in your timeline. Now suddenly the next poll is only 3.5k votes. But in the analytics, it says there were 124k impressions (number of people who saw the post). For transparency, let's look at some of the vote totals vs. impressions (number of people who saw the poll, per X Analytics). This is in order for this year's races. Clash: 14.8k votes, 58k impressions (25% voted) Daytona 500: 28.6k votes, 156k impressions (18% voted) Atlanta: 24.3k votes, 257k impressions (11% voted) COTA: 18.7k votes, 135k votes (14% voted) Phoenix: 16.8k votes, 116k impressions (14% voted) Vegas: 15.5k votes, 61k impressions (25% voted) Darlington: 17.3k votes, 256k impressions (6% voted) Martinsville: 9.8k votes, 130k impressions (7% voted) Bristol: 3.5k, 124k impressions (3% voted) So what happened the last few weeks? Something isn't adding up (and no, I don't think it's "NASCAR fans suddenly stopped deciding to vote"). Seems like either the vote totals are wrong or the impressions are wrong and people aren't seeing the poll. What's your theory? (cc: @nikitabier)

Was Bristol a good race? 67 percent of you said Yes. -- Ranks No. 14 of 22 Bristol races -- Ranks No. 3 of the paved Next Gen races at Bristol (the two high tire wear races were ahead of it, so this is the top "normal" Bristol race with the Next Gen car) -- Only 3.5k votes. More thoughts on this in the next tweet. (1/2)

NASCAR's Probst says: -Talladega first stage will be longer than final two stages to try to mitigate the fuel-mileage incentives. Final two stages won't require a fuel stop. Stage lengths TBD. -preseason test at Daytona in January to change power levels & spoiler to see impact.

Really excited about this week's Hauler Talk podcast. Finally had NASCAR Competition Chief John Probst on to talk about a bunch of things. Notable: Some plans in the works on the superspeedway/fuel savings strategy we've seen. Download and listen! podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/202…
