For every legit sponsor, there are 9 fake ones. Most are not giving you a dollar, maybe some registrations here and there, and maybe some flights and/or hotels if you on ur best behavior. Legit sponsors give salary plus flights and hotels. But they will still try to rob you before they give you any of that. So in other words, know your worth!!!!!

So, about FGC sponsors Correct me if I'm wrong, but most sponsors don't cover your all of your expenses. Usually, registration or part of your hotel. While it's nice to save money, let me ask you this. What can a sponsor do for you that you can't do for yourself?

@LolitaBot613 I don't think anyone is discounting that. It's just there is a difference between being the best in your town versus being the best at EVO. One has weight and the other doesn't. It doesn't mean no one respects what it took to be a town though.

TIL if your tournament isn't "main game at EVO" it's not real Even if you have the highest level players in the bracket, still doesn't count But what would I know, I've only been in the FGC competing and traveling to "not tournaments" for nearly 15 years (also it was at EVO)

@EsportsFaustian I wouldn't call these tournaments. More like fan ones. This game never got into stuff like EVO or anything and it is a real shame.
