Screaming into the void. Like history stuff, but also occasionally other eclectic tastes. Mostly just lurking now. Early 30s CE. pfp by annoyinglyloving

@BLKfeatherPress Second is my favorite, clean but still shows a bit of the rock, but the brown text on off-white from the first looks nice.

The things character wear are just as important as the character. They visually communicate who that character is and what they do. I’ve always put as much time into a characters gear as them themselves.

@cromafterdark I don't know how the movie will be. But the trailer showed two scenes that let me know they'll show a compassionate Superman that saves people, and that's what I want. They understand and that's important. And Krypto is adorable.

This lamp was once a New Year’s gift, and includes a winged Victory holding a shield that reads ‘A happy and prosperous New Year!’, surrounded by the things Romans gave as gifts to celebrate: money (coins) and dried fruit (figs). Roman, 2nd half, 1st c. CE. #MetMuseum 📸 me

I got started on the spot illustrations for Eureka's rulebook ! It's been fun drawing more than just character art, getting the rust off both my speed and observation skills.

This exceptional large #Roman bronze decorative fitting for a carriage or boat takes the form of a vegetative winged Cupid. The eyes and feathers of the wings were inlaid with silver, some of which is still visible. 50 BCE-150 CE #BritishMuseum (1824,0423.16) 📸 me
