Weirdly, I’m now quite desperate to watch tomorrow’s SNL UK launch despite not having sky TV.

The moment of equinox is at 14:46 GMT/UTC today. Those that recognise astronomical equinox as the start of spring can now stop wincing.

@hellothisisivan Is anyone old enough to remember the 70s BBC youth Christian programme ‘The Sunday Gang’?

@LBC If there are any more tunnels you don’t want building, I’m happy not to build one for £50 million.

@godblesstoto This is worse than the opening titles to Emma Thompsons one woman show, from the 80's. I never ever thought I'd utter those words.

This looks worse than The Mash Report and I didn't even think that was actually possible yet here we are.

@JaneS1962 Once upon a time they had a café with their own food and a decently priced bar that was a great place to meet. It was a place for proper cineasts with a members notice board full of flat share ads and appeals for obscure movies on VHS.

In Benugo’s cafe in #BFI I almost went away because all the tables were full. Luckily I found a table, paid an exorbitant price for a quiche. All the tables are full with people sitting with their laptop and their own bottle of water. How is this a feasible business model?

Star BBC journalists mourning arch-terrorist Ali Larijani’s elimination. @BowenBBC: “Back then, he was a diplomat who you could see was intelligent and sought different angles on matters of discussion.” @JohnSimpsonNews: “He always seemed clever and reasonable.”

@Mendelpol The article remains pretty much unchanged and is no less disgusting for it.

All a big misunderstanding. Of course. Alternatively, the Guardian is simply lying in response to the anger its latest unambiguous antisemitism has aroused. Actually that's not an alternative. It's what happened.

@ifellonithonest He was always this stupid. A posh accent and a crumpled journo demeanour can cover for a lot in the UK.

A year and a half ago I complained to both the council and the police about this poster on the side of my small terrace. It’s still there. Any other racism etc…

Did that @guardian article on Gail’s mention that pro-Pals graffitied a Hamas triangle on the cafe. Or not considered aggressive enough?

@archer_rs @guardian Why the anger? It’s simply a distillation of every mendacious angle she approves every day. Liew must be so confused, having done the job expected of him.

Hearing that @Guardian editor Katharine Viner has been overwhelmed with complaints (many from her friends) about Jonathan Liew’s abhorrent column justifying smashing up a branch of Gail’s because it had a Jewish founder. Insiders say she is beyond angry and heads will roll.

It’s somehow amusing that Paul Ehrlich got to live to the age of 93 in a world of ever increasing abundance.
