@CoryBMorgan I think you are wrong. Anyone who sees an EA in action knows it is a calling. They are kicked, spit on, confided in and run ragged every day. For that pay they would only stay because they are called to care for our most vulnerable kids.

A large number of teachers are liberal arts grads who got tired of making lattes & wanted a good pension plan. They don't see teaching as a calling. It's just a means to an end.

@judyp63 I’ve been walking an hour-ish 6 days a week, eating 1500 calories, cut out crap, for the past month and have lost almost nothing - not even .1 of a pound the past 2 weeks. I don’t get it 😭 It is so defeating. I do feel better though so I’m going to keep going!
