Just insane. When pastors go rogue, it’s usually to push prosperity gospel or drop some ridiculous hot take. But when imams go rogue, it often escalates to calls for violence or defending things like child marriage. And the uncomfortable part is that you could even argue that this man isn’t “rogue” at all, he may actually be closer to the example of the religion’s founder than the modern, peace-loving image many prefer.
