Calling a valid concern that 66% of Jewish Americans agree with is not me being obsessed. (And that’s according to Forward, a NonProfit Jewish org. if you want to fact check me). AIPAC spending is unpopular, just like the prison industrial complex, ICE, restrictions on bodily autonomy for women, etc etc. Honestly, I'd rather focus my time and taxes elsewhere. Forcing politicians to rely solely on individual donations from their constituents will ensure that they answer directly to the people they represent, and not outside interests. 3.) They 100% should be forced to register under FARA. Their expressed mission is to encourage the U.S. government to enact pro-Israel policies. We literally fund their education, health care and military with OUR taxpayer dollars. The fact that Israel has universal healthcare and we do not, even though we pay for theirs, is fucking bonkers. And if saying that we should focus on our domestic issues before getting involved elsewhere is a radical opinion, then I don’t EVER want to be whatever the fuck you are.

Sure, I agree with that sentiment. Ego needs to be put aside in order to foster a successful movement. But I would also add that grandstanding and this whole “I am worker than thou” form of discourse in unproductive. Rather than focusing on what we dislike about Hasan, let’s put our energy behind what we agree with him on.

Are you funded by them? Just because AIPAC purports to speak for all Americans doesn’t mean the public actually views them favorably. AIPACs unpopularity grows day to day. We need to stop meddling in foreign politics altogether. Our domestic issues require full attention instead of intervening in foreign conflicts and funding another nation entire societal fabric.
