@da_muguruza Noskova should win easily but has let-downs against lesser players in lesser tourneys. Seems to play her best in majors against somewhat good players e.g. Muchova IDK we'll see I'm hoping she knocks out Eala so Eala isn't celebrating like she won the lottery again.

This was a match won on the strength of Alex Eala's return game and sustained intensity. From the start, Alex was pummeling returns, rushing Svitolina and pushing her off the baseline. She bore holes in Svitolina's defense and it was Svitolina who was forced to go for more, leading to errors. While the serve fluctuated today, she was creating a lot of opportunities to break and getting herself into winning positions throughout the match.
