This is shocking. Sinner could have hit this ball anywhere and he went straight for youngster Alex Michelson. Michelson was understandably rattled and roared when he held his serve. Really bad from Sinner. Note the number of empty seats as well.

@pavyg So why no disapproval for Fonseca? For the record I am not a Sinner fan but I think both are perfectly legitimate shots.

Saw Project Hail Mary last night and the only thing I’ll say is that there’s one scene where Ryan Gosling’s character runs two samples in a fully unbalanced centrifuge. Someone needs to be fired for that

The hand wave for the towel has become a nervous tick at this point. Tennis players are not that sweaty after every single point even an ace or 3 shot rally

If this is every year around this time I'm going to Miami next year. Maybe I can get a senior discount for the show.

Why is ROI a better indicator than units or W/L record? Let's use my Indian Wells results as an example. W/L: 36-42-3 --- a losing record P/L: +4.18 units --- a profitable tournament ROI: +5.56% Now, looking at the W/L record, or even the small number that is our profit, you may think these are mediocre or even bad Indian Wells results. However, as we can clearly see by the ROI, this was an extremely profitable tournament. 5.56% ROI over 12 days is like...really really good. It is a small sample size but my point stands about why certain result statistics may be deceiving. Most cappers have their "5 and 10 UNIT MAXES" and may be up 100 units, but at the end of the day if they are risking 5000 units then that doesn't really matter. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk and I will see you for Miami if this rain ever stops.
Tennis Investment Club@TennisProfits

This is really the only metric that matters. Anyone can scale up unit sizes but these guys are likely not using 1 unit as the "standard" 1% of your bankroll

@TennisProfits As someone who knows their way around a tennis tournament, easily the most overrated. It’s super scenic and the weather is great, but the prices are silly. And that’s coming from someone who goes to every round, including finals, of USO (which is astronomical in price)

It is literally empty in this stadium for Medvedev/Draper. Absolutely embarrassing for the "5th Slam"... The tournament needs to do better with grounds passes. The fans and players both deserve better. Shame on the greedy people that cuased this

This has absolutely nothing to do with the state of tennis, it has to do with the average fan being priced out of tickets. Look at the Golden Swing for example. Every court for every match completely packed. People love tennis, it just needs to be more accessible.

Tennis is a finished sport. So is football. It's a bunch of crybabies do can't play the sport anymore. Football has become unbearable to watch as these very little talent left. The same as tennis. It's just power hitting and awful one sided matches.

@maksim_popovski I agree it’s soft but based on the way the rule is written I understand it. Soft to ask by Med and soft by the umpire to call it

@TennisProfits I mean it’s a mere second in which he puts his hand up to his shoulder in disbelief that the ball is in. Very soft for me

I understand why hindrance was called there, but I do agree with Draper that it should have to be the shot immediately following the motion. You shouldn't be allowed to ask for it after the rally which had 3-4 more shots

@maksim_popovski He was clearly making a gesture because he thought the ball was out. I can understand that being distracting, at least. But you have to stop the point if so
