These FOSS mascots are getting out of hand. Apparently, this is the mascot for Krita. Anubis and KDE mascot also are vaguely furry lolis. I genuinely wonder if these mascots hinder adoption by corporations.

I cover this in another reply. But I think "NPC-ness" is a spectrum. Probably just about everyone had doubts at one point or another, just not enough to survive the media onslaught.
That's the point, "Keep your doubts to yourself and let them die". If everyone is afraid of social repercussion from everyone else, nobody speaks up and realizes the truth, and nothing snowballs outside the machine's control.

For me, I think a non-insignificant chunk of the artist space has been brainrotted by algorithms, monetization, and politics.
This kind of slop is just the final form of all the terrible practices people turned a blind eye to until they got personally screwed by it.
Am I pro this? In the sense I believe a flood will shock out all the people, both artist and consumer, who never gave a shit in the first place.

I'm actually working on a bit of an experiment right now to introduce "human entropy" into an openclaw agent by interweaving the actions of an AI driven virtual "pet" into the context of an assistant.
Basically in one place, the agent is helping me, in the other, it's helping itself "stay alive"
Early phases, but I think it has potential.

so here's how to make AI more creative: I gave zoe 200 proven tweet templates as an experiment but she'd pick the same one every time - because the context is 99% the same and we are driving the same attention to the model the breakthrough: inject randomness before LLM sees the data a script to randomly select 10 templates → spawn 5 parallel agents → pick best across all → 100x better output maybe "creativity" is just another word for "entropy"

@broboimation The closest thing we have to caine (that the public knows of) is Neuro-Sama. Even then, any time she is in charge of a creative venture like drawing, Vedal gives her the tools, teaches her the basics and makes her do it manually. Otherwise she is a call-and-response model
