@LukeKempner @SebWassell I mean, everything I’ve said is publicly available information. Why do you think the clause didn’t activate? Why didn’t it work? Nobody’s accused Arsenal of being insulting. They were naive. And stupid. And embarrassing. But not insulting.

The ridicule this got and still gets makes no sense to me. He had a clause that stated anything over £40m had to initiate contact. If anything, they offered 99p too much.

@Craig_Hearne He’s saying the first one outside the box is a foul but the second one, for which the penalty was given, isn’t a foul so a free kick should’ve been given. The ball had got away from him and he’s kicked the back of his leg so no pen for me
