@realf_inlegacy I appreciated having a Pinterest reference board in the past if only so that I knew exactly what the expectation was -- by no means do I want to be the person who thinks A but you're expecting B.

I know it's a lot of reading, but I usually look at the following: * The Points Guy * Doctor of Credit * One Mile at a Time * Frequent Miler I don't follow their affiliate links though :) (I'd rather ask someone for a referral so a human gets money/points versus a potentially incentivized/sponsored blog)

If you're gonna be in the Chase ecosystem, you might want to take a look at what cards they have with travel partners. Hyatt's SUB right now is great - Marriott Chase Boundless also looks pretty good (but note that it gives you Silver whereas the Marriott Amex gives you Platinum). That being said, I'd probably do CSR + (airline you fly frequently enough to offset the annual fee via baggage/in-flight purchase discount) and optionally (hotel chain you stay at frequently) - hotel optional because those perks generally don't provide tangible cash value.

As much as the coupon book thing annoys me, I'm still pretty partial to the Chase Sapphire Reserve as a primary driver simply because of the value of Chase points - definitely wait for a good SUB though. I also value the flexibility of being able to transfer to different partners. (Amex Plat is also good for that, but I find that the coupon book doesn't work as well for me as the CSR.) I'd probably pair that with a hotel/airline card or two, depending on which you value more - but I'd at least do the lowest annual fee versions of those cards so you don't stack benefits you can't really use. (Like - having 2x Dashpass isn't that useful...) Happy to chat more - I love this sorta thing. :)
