The medical machine keeps the brain death label to turn people into spare parts before they are actually gone. They need that window of time to harvest organs while the heart is still ticking. It is not about saving lives but harvesting profit from the vulnerable. When they declare you dead, they are just clearing the path to cut you up. Your silence is their paycheck, and they bank on you being too trapped to scream.

It’s absolutely true that some people declared brain dead can still hear what’s going on around them, but are unable to speak or sign that they are alive. Zack Dunlap was declared brain dead, but survived, and later told Dr. Paul Byrne that he was listening as doctors told his parents that he was “dead” and could now become an organ donor: “The next thing I remember was laying in the hospital bed, not being able to move, breathe — couldn’t do anything, on a ventilator. I heard someone say, ‘I’m sorry, he’s brain dead, he’s passing away.’ And there’s nothing I could do, just get mad. I couldn’t do anything, to sign, at all… I tried to scream, tried to move, just got extremely angry.” Thankfully, Zack managed to move forcefully enough that his organ harvesting was called off. He recovered, got married, has a daughter, and works a job. Dead people don’t get better. Brain death is not death.

Three Florida teenagers turned a simple act of kindness into a life-saving response after stopping to help a man change a tire outside a McDonald’s. According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, Cooper City High School students Brody Murray, Cody Magrone and Logan Royer noticed 65-year-old Diego Fernandez Delgado struggling with a flat tire and decided to help. But while changing the tire, the teens quickly realized something was wrong. They said Delgado appeared pale, exhausted and was struggling to breathe before telling them he needed an ambulance. The students immediately called 911. Deputies and firefighter-paramedics responded to the scene, where Delgado was later diagnosed with a heart attack. “Without a doubt, these young men made an impactful difference… and probably did save his life,” a responder said in video released by authorities. “Helping people doesn’t cost anything,” one of the teens added.
