I highly doubt the DNC will learn from this. Just as it didn't learn from 2016. They will blame racism and misogyny, which is real and true, but they will not take responsibility for faults or make needed changes.

When I worry about my children, their future, and what kind of world I brought them into, I have so many doubts. But, I recall some people of faith telling me that I brought my babies in with love and am raising them with love and that this world always benefits from more love.❤️

@nienna121 I'm happy you did that! I had babies those same years. Had a virtual shower in 2020 and a small diaper shower in 2022. I was blessed with wonderful gifts, but I did feel like I missed out on some celebration. I'm glad you celebrated!

We didn’t need a lot or ask for a lot (mostly just diapers and a handful of items), we really just wanted people to celebrate with us. We spent way more than we got back and that was intentional. Sometimes you just gotta throw a party the Mexican way 🙂‍↕️

For my first baby it was 2020 and we had a drive by shower and it just wasn’t the same as celebrating together. So in 2022, for my second baby, we had a REAL baby shower. We hired a taquero, ordered a cake, and had a great time. Celebrating babies doesn’t have to be a cash grab.
