Surround yourself with people who inspire you to be better. Yesterday, I had a call with an emerging fund manager who was so ambitious, disciplined, and deeply knowledgeable about his space that it left me energized. His hunger to grow and his clarity of purpose reminded me why I love what I do. It made me realize how important it is to intentionally spend time with people who pull greatness out of you — not by what they say, but by how they operate. I want more of those conversations. More of those relationships. More of that energy in my circle. Who’s someone in your life that pushes you to level up? Reach out to them and spend more time with those people.
