@larry_truman1 @YordanisBonds Now that idea makes me think twice about wanting Hader to stay in Houston no matter what, if it meant signing Hunter to a healthy extension, I wouldn't mind seeing that at all.

@YordanisBonds There is control, but limited flexibility. His contract will limit the “haul” unless desperation comes in to play. I would trade hader to get $ off books and sign brown to a 5-6 yr extension if he would accept it.

Hate it all you want but, this is a prime deadline to trade Josh Hader. - Peaking at a perfect time - Multiple years of control - Sellers market - Injury risk - Ability to reinvest $ You would be able to get an absolute haul and inject talent into a system trending up.

@YordanisBonds I don't understand getting rid of your most reliable players, who are productive & proven, right now. To get other players who may not wanna be here & who knows what type of productivity you're gonna get from them. Jmo, but I always felt like Graveman didn't wanna be here.
