Or are they so deep in their snake oil pitch, that if they reveal the truth: that AI has plateaued its functionality and practical use cases. They will all go broke and the global economy will tank.

I love how much its hastened workflow for things like writing, VFX, and music production. But lets be real -- there is no AGI, there is no super intelligence. This thing is NOT conscious and never will be. Its snake oil. And I do wonder do the tech bros really believe in it....

I LOVE the term "Tech-psychosis" because it really is. Its been about 3-4 years of Chatgpt being widely-distributed and we were promised science, medical, social, and economic breakthroughs. All we got were faster workflows and fake therapy.

Trying to get people to stop using AI is ridiculous. It is not going to happen.
What CAN happen is that we innovate better ways to generate electricity and more efficient ways to be humans. Telling people what NOT to do is goofy and frankly very controlling. It’s a free country thank God, people will do what they want, so the best way to clean things up is to figure out better ways of doing, not better ways of not doing, when it comes to something as overwhelmingly inevitable as AI. AI is not drinking or smoking or washing your towels before they’re dirty. It is the cutting edge of human technology and therefore of human evolution and there is NO stopping it.
We need to adapt not attack.
