Tennessee Republicans advance bill that would create public list of trans residents

@Ash_Lee_IRL Children should be kept free from social influence. Let them grow up, let them learn on their own. No more push to try and change who they are. Hormones are rough getting through but by age 18, a legal adult they grow into the body they are born with happily.

🚨🇺🇸🇸🇾 STILL IN SYRIA: 3 U.S. SOLDIERS SHOT IN AMBUSH NEAR PALMYRA 3 American troops were wounded in yet another “we’re not technically at war” mission, this time during an anti-ISIS patrol in central Syria. They were ambushed near Palmyra, where ISIS once filmed executions in Roman ruins, and they had to be airlifted to the Al-Tanf base, a lonely outpost on the Syria-Iraq-Jordan border that most Americans have never heard of. The assailant was confirmed to be killed in the incident, with no further details regarding the motive or circumstances, as reported by the official Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) state news agency. However, there are still around 900 U.S. troops in Syria, quietly risking their lives in a forever-conflict no one talks about. No Congressional debate, no exit strategy, and no headlines. Just blood, silence, and strategic ambiguity. Source: @visegrad24, Al Jazeera

🚨🇺🇸 ZOHRAN MAMDANI TAKES MANHATTAN - AND THE DAILY SHOW 5 days before New York votes, Zohran Mamdani -the 33-year-old democratic socialist shaking up City Hall - faced Jon Stewart under the studio lights. Stewart, half-grinning, half-interrogating, pressed Mamdani on his viral walk-the-length-of-Manhattan stunt and the 90,000 volunteers now flooding doorsteps for his campaign. The candidate parried with the kind of grounded idealism that made him internet-famous: rent justice, housing reform, and the belief that politics shouldn’t feel like punishment. Mamdani: “We found, that young people are at the heart of believing something could be more than this.” A line aimed at the cynicism choking both parties - and at every pundit who declared Gen Z politically dead. With Eric Adams out and names like Cuomo and Sliwa circling, Mamdani’s insurgent run feels like a political remix: Part grassroots gospel, part social-media spectacle, all momentum. Jon Stewart gave him the platform. New York will decide if it gives him the city. Source: The Daily Show interview via Mashable
