The idiots at the Statehouse in Indiana banned smartwatches in schools. Happy my son, who is currently in high school, asked me for my @Fossil watch from high school I used to wear though. ♥️

"...Though, some of it is propane powered due to remote, off-grid locations..." It boggles my mind that some people (not Nathan) see the handful of propane and diesel-powered EV chargers in EXTREMELY remote areas, laugh at it, and say it's worse than driving an ICEV when it's STILL cleaner to burn fossil fuels in a generator to charge an EV than it is to drive an ICEV.

Riding motorcycles to Alaska and back over the last 3 weeks has been enlightening in some ways I didn't expect. Glaciers are receding massively, wildfires and wildfire smoke are really bad, and weather is more extreme. I lived on the road through it all, experienced it with all sensations, and saw how our forests in remote places are suffering. Our planet is changing and it's not lost on me the impact even my 50mpg, Euro 5 emissions compliant motorcycles had. Though, not impossible, electric motorcycles have been to Alaska before. It's just inconvenient and much slower travel than I have resources to achieve in my 3 weeks of PTO. EV charging infrastructure is in places I didn't expect all throughout remote parts of Canada. Though, some of it is propane powered due to remote, off-grid locations and a lot of the stations are 50-100kW. I could imagine driving an EV to Alaska but Alaska hasn't been excited to install fast charging stations. Or, Alaskans haven't been excited for EVs. Uncertain. This trip was a return to my home state, one I haven't seen since 1988. It has changed. I have changed. But it's still beautiful!

@PlugLyfOfficial @slateauto I love the idea of Slate crate! Give me their specs plug and play and I’m a customer. For $15k you get battery, motor, charger, and other aux equipment… would LOVE to convert a VW Bus and Ford Model TT. Yes I’ve been dreaming.

I can't tell you how many messages I've received or comments I've seen like this... Because I've seen SO many. Here's to hoping @slateauto will turn the EV conversion industry on its head and offer a "Slate Crate" that has all of the necessary electronics, motor(s), and battery to do an EV conversion. THAT would be a game changer. Most donor drivetrains I've seen cost as much as, or more than, a Slate truck and don't even have all the electronics included, so you KNOW Slate could release an affordable Slate Crate.

Imagine replacing your 2026 Tesla Model Y for a Camry They should replace their iPhone with a flip phone while they’re at it. This individual states charging is an issue, yet they installed one in their garage. This post literally makes no sense 😂

Back in my days of manufacturing at a well known beer company, they decided they wanted to tell their suppliers that they won’t pay them for one year, double from six months which had been a long standing agreement. Our metal supplier said “naaa we’re good with 6 months”. Beer company wasn’t happy. So they countered with 9 months between payments. Again, supplier said, “Naa dawg, let’s keep it as is- 6 months”. Anywho, come payment time, Metal supplier asked for payment, Beer company didn’t want to pay. 🚩So the metal stopped showing up.🚩 We got Chinese metal shipped to us as fast as we could. It wrecked all of our equipment. Cupper overhauls had to be performed, bodymaker rebuilds, tooling was getting crashed out much faster than what our tooling suppliers could process, neckers down, flangers jammed, etc etc.. Millions of dollars and a sick twisted science experiment later… Beer company paid our metal supplier and all was right in the universe of 12oz aluminum can manufacturing. TL;DR: Pay your bills, and get your product.

Something is going down today in Houston with Cybercabs. Just saw these 3 and a Model Y head down from the hub to the service center. Minutes before that I saw 6 more Cybercabs head down there as well (couldn't record). When I got the service center minutes after them, not a single one in sight. The service door was open so I assume they all went inside. I have never seen this before, and this many Cybercabs don't usually head to the service center at once.

Close call for the drone cam! I wonder if this was precisely planned to be just outside of the possible range of the TVC corrections, or if they just got lucky?
