As a Christian myself, I believe it’s important for each soul to decide what religion to believe themselves. Pushing someone to convert is no good, it has to come from their own heart.

個人的な意見ですが、私は他人に対し別の信仰を持って欲しいと心の中で願うのは、その人の内心の自由ですが、それを発言してしまうのは失礼であると感じます。
私を狭量であると感じるでしょうが、許してください。

@Tesla3324 @task_fortress Does the Japanese word for ‘convert’ has connotations of being inherently coercive, or is it purely a cultural difference? I can’t quite pinpoint the exact difference of view of the term, but aside from some Christians being disrespectful, there seem to be a misunderstanding too.

私は昔Hondaに勤めてましたが、先輩や同僚がオハイオに出張で行った際の土産話はよく聞きましたよ。
確かどこかの射撃場に行った際に1ドルコインを土産にもらったとも聞きました。

@SonohennoKuma Wow!! I was a New Englander and never associated Vermont with curry! What do Japanese people think of Massachusetts? One of my peak experiences of Japanese food was a place in Cambridge called the Porter Square Exchange. Had my 1st curry donut there.
