@buckadeath Bullshit, it’s because bombers don’t fly over populated areas. Has nothing to do with European countries not opening airspace.

Europe is so desperate to avoid getting dragged into this war, they're denying airspace to US B-1 Lancers

@chinafutureclub Trains in SEQ are 50 cents so you’ve got to have rocks in your head to use your care for commuting at these prices and the totally choked roads in Brisbane and GC/ SC. May as well throw the money for petrol in the bin, same outcome.

Friends in Australia telling me petrol prices are so bad the roads are quiet. Is this true? The war only started 3 weeks ago!

@techAU It just looks horrendous, no matter how beautiful the backdrop is or how good the specs are. The standard Y is already stretched and bloated but this is just too much. Giugiaro is turning in his grave :)

@Sauronlordking Greedy generation - they vote more than younger people, they bought houses when they were 3-5 times income, put in negative gearing, benefitted massively from growing population. Everything that’s wrong now is a product of the last 30-40 years in my opinion. Poor kids.

My theory is BMW put funny lights at launch events so people can talk for months about how ugly it is up until they see it in the flesh and they swallow what they said and talk about how nice the car is for a long time 🤞🏾🤣😂😂

Prices in Australian supermarkets are ludicrous. $11.00 for a tube of toothpaste, $8.00 for a block of chocolate 🍫 full of chemicals, $24.00 for 2 litres of laundry detergent 🙄

@DAN30K @marknofski @MarioNawfal I would get it if Germany was to trying and subjugate the world again, but the maintenance and building costs of these would be astronomical. I agree more should be done, but not sure if large nuclear subs are the way.

@TeslaMining @marknofski @MarioNawfal At one time, they were leaders in rockets, jet's, etc. They went for every crazy idea and they sat on them and lit it up.. The German pride walks the fine line separating the sublime from the ridiculous and is no coincidence the echoes on this of the Type 21 u boat, another dud.

🇩🇪🇮🇷 Germany won't escort ships through Hormuz. Won't host US offensive aircraft. Won't join the war. But they do operate 6 of the quietest submarines on earth. The Type 212A runs on hydrogen fuel cells. No nuclear reactor. No need to surface for weeks. Virtually silent. Undetectable to most sonar. Armed with heavyweight torpedoes and capable of diving beyond 700 meters. Stealthier than most nuclear subs. Without the nuclear reactor that gives them away. Germany is sitting this war out publicly while quietly possessing the exact weapon that would make Iran's navy very nervous. @DI313_

🚨🇮🇷🇦🇪 Fujairah suspending oil-loading operations. Iran warned. Then struck. Now the world's 3rd-largest oil storage hub and the last meaningful bypass route around the Strait of Hormuz is offline. Both doors are closed now. Reuters

@DAN30K @marknofski @MarioNawfal Why would they build them? They are market leader in a different technology. They don’t need them in the confined Baltic and North Sea, and they don’t need to project power in the pacific or Atlantic.

@TeslaMining @marknofski @MarioNawfal You mean like those in the Kursk?. The thing is, torpedoes are actually quite safe. It’s an old, proven technology. But hydrogen is and always will be dangerous; and I assure you, if the Germans were permitted to operate nuclear submarines, they would be building them right now.

@TeslaMining @marknofski @MarioNawfal Very well, then. As long as the risk of explosion is minimal, everything is fine with these alternative energy. Right?.. I don't think anyone would be too worried about being confined inside a steel cylinder at a depth of 1,000 ft with those kinds of assurances. Have a safe trip.

@TeslaMining @marknofski @MarioNawfal Oopsy!. Hydrogen metal hydride systems have risks primarily centered on high flammability, potential for violent reactions with >water or oxygen< & material degradation. Dangers include pyrophoric selfigniting powders, invisible hydrogen flames, high-pressure releases & explosion

@StepanRehak The last 30 years of VW design was dictated by finance people. The T3 Syncro, everything after was uninspiring unfortunately. Today VW is synonymous with boring, but the beetle, Golf MK1, KG and T1-3 used to be inspiring cars. Bring back Giugiaro, and out with the bean counters.
