Tetra Seattle

Seattle office hours tonight at 6:30 at Stoup brewery in cap hill. (I have to miss tonight again but want to make sure folks know it’s still happening) Note the venue change! It’s not at Chuck’s tonight. Stoup has more indoor space and is easier to get to via public transit.

In addition to @TetraSeattle, I’ve started Tetra Global (link in reply) as an online hub for the larger network. It’s intended to act as a basic coordination layer across cities, with the discord server serving as the main communication platform. dm for invite

The second goal is to visit @fractal_nyc and meet with folks there to strengthen the alliance between Fractal NYC and PNW orgs like @TetraSeattle and @Rhizomia_.

Happy 4th! Today I’m announcing a new project called Tetra [City] which is a pattern for creating local group identities for online connection clusters. @TetraSeattle (formerly Fractal Seattle) is the first instance of Tetra [City]. 🧵

Fractal Seattle is evolving! We’ve got a core crew consisting of myself, @workflowsauce, @stefaesthesia, and @MelissaMesku, plus a wider group of folks who are all interested in creating more in-person connections in Seattle. Reach out if you'd like to get involved!

Since 2021, Fractal NYC has developed into a microsociety with 100+ events/month, a coding bootcamp, and a DIY university We're calling these "neighborhood campuses" and now 15 are launching all over the world through our bootcamp. Below is a sampling of them! 🧵
