@Bigdaddyvinz_ Man the show turning Arya into this absurd super ninja ruined the perception of the faceless men. People are assuming they’re literal superheroes who can kill anyone, anywhere, anytime. Jaqen was literally in chains and a cage when he met Arya. They’re not all-powerful.

@TetsujinX 6. Couldn't fit them all. 4 are in SF6, so far. And 3 of 6 are main chars you see in almost every game. That's 3 out of the original 8 world warriors with the same cookie cutter wife and kid. That's a lot for a genre that isn't even big on story in the 1st place.

@Critical_Scribe I mostly agree. My take has always been that the game had a fantastic physics engine and possibilities were endless but the challenge never actually rose to make you use it to the utmost. It was otherwise a Ubisoft tower climb game with lots of time wasting and shallow combat.

Here’s a spicy take: If someone made a game almost exactly like Breath of the Wild but it wasn’t labeled as a Zelda game, it would have gotten 7-8/10s across the board due to a lack of story, weak dungeons, and weapon degradation. I wouldn’t have given it that, and I actually LOVE both Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, but people let Zelda “get away” with a lot more than other games and it gets to be a bit much to hear at times. If something is not very good in one game, slapping it into the Zelda world doesn’t magically make the thing good. This goes for any Nintendo property btw.

@Gamingspens Back in the day, it really kinda was this way. Tekken used to be much more grounded. The KoF character in particular also reminds me of Marco Rodriguez. Just a karateka with a bit of his national flavor and a funky afro instead of goth aesthetics lol.
