The first ever CABG (bypass) was done in Texas. He is in good hands! The recovery kinda sucks, hiccups are painful, coughs are really painful, but sneezes feel like the end of the world. Tell him the pillow is almost useless. I put my hands under my armpits and squeezed my chest together tightly, that almost helped. God Bless!

𝗛𝗨𝗚𝗘 𝗦𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗛 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘! ❤️‍🩹 🙏 😇 🥳 My sister Heather is out of surgery and 𝗗𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗟! They struggled a bit finding good veins to use for the bypass but were eventually successful. All of her vital signs are strong! Hallelujah! She is going to the ICU now and will likely remain sedated for quite a while until the remove the breathing tube. So things look hopeful but we have to keep praying that she does not experience any strokes or blood clots. The doctor seemed optimistic! Please keep Heather in your prayers - and thank you. I hope this means she will feel much healthier and happier in the future. (Heather is in the middle)...
