When corn goes up, fertilizer (nitrogen, phosphate, potash), goes up right along with it.” He says farm income is being squeezed not by what farmers sell, but what they're forced to buy. At the @FarmersForTrade USMCA Roundtable, hosted where NAFTA was signed in 1992, TCP board member and Texas farmer Charles Ring highlighted just how connected Texas agriculture is to Mexico.
