no disrepect intended, truly. but: the concept of okc replacing their only consistent "two on the ball" guy w podz, while keeping the rest of this season's context the same -- which means the same wild shooting variance -- & still winning 50+ games is absolutely *absurd* to me.

@petek0421 @nathanmarzion Same tired bullshit There isn't a coach in the history of the NBA who could have coached this team of losers to the playoffs Horst was, is, and will be the problem until he's gone Bring in any coach you want and it won't make a difference

Not going to put too much stock into Kalshi odds but this isn’t the first post I’ve seen with Ryan so low. Seems insane to me, and I don’t think it’s just my Buck bias. Dude was the 44th pick, a trade throw in, then waived. Went from a 2 way flyer to bonafide starter. 11 PPG jump

Odds to win the NBA’s Most Improved Player: 1. Nickeil Alexander-Walker — 88% 2. Deni Avdija — 6% 3. Jalen Duren — 5% 4. Ryan Rollins — 2% 5. Jalen Johnson — <1% Is the race over?

As of the time of this posting, the tweet below has 1.4M views. The two sets of free throws shown were the result of: 1) Christie wanting to stop play so he could call his use-it-or-lose-it timeout before time dropped below 3 mins. 2) Cardwell fouling Seth during a live rebound, and the Warriors being in the bonus. McDermott, the same guy who gave the foul after being instructed, made a 3 the very next possession from a set play Christie drew up.
Hater Report@HaterReport

We have NEVER seen this level of tanking bruh Doug Christie literally instructed his players on the Kings TO FOUL SETH CURRY ON PURPOSE while up 101-100 in the 4th quarter INSANE 😭💀

@Tfence92 @APH00PS And the league absolutely has to interview the Aspiration employees who knew about and/or were involved in executing the Kawhi deal. This context absolutely matters.

@APH00PS NBA can do that sure, but the DOJ gives zero shits about their investigation cause nothing about it is unlawful. The DOJ investigation also doesn't pertain to Kawhi's issues at all, they don't even really have a reason to ask witnesses about it.

@Tfence92 The NBA can (and probably already has) requested any official documents from the DOJ about the testimonies from individuals involving Ballmer and the Clippers. Whether the DOJ will grant them access, who knows. But no one is contacting 3rd and 4th parties about Giannis lol

@WiSports22 @TonyCMKE @ohnohedidnt24 Clearly you don’t understand that things like the Milwaukee/Giannis investigation being done INTERNALLY by the NBA and the Kawhi/Aspiration stuff is being handled by a third party and has 1000s of people involved + the DOJ. Outing yourself as unable to contextualize anything.

Austin Reaves had an opportunity to recreate this iconic shot of D-Wade throwing a lob to LeBron James and walking off the court, arms out-stretched, last night, but instead he looked back to make sure the pass "wasn't too high." So close...

Last week, the NBA adjusted its salary cap projection back down to $165m, reducing 2026–27 vet minimum salaries. Milwaukee has 4 guys with player options this summer. Here's what their minimum with a new team would be vs. the value of their Bucks player options:

Giannis and the Bucks made it a point this season—for whatever reason—to try and embarrass Shams. But at the end of the day, Shams is just doing his job. ESPN pays him to be accurate and plugged in, and that’s exactly what he’s been. It’s not on Shams that Giannis and his camp spent months behind the scenes exploring options while publicly avoiding that reality. He reported what pretty much everyone around the league was already hearing. The whole deadline/Kalshi optics move was interesting, but it didn’t exactly help their leverage. If anything, it turned some teams off—which is why you’re now starting to hear more “is he worth the asking price?” narratives popping up. Now it feels like the stage is being set for something more grounded: Lakers: picks + cap flexibility Knicks: KAT + a couple of swaps At a high level, it’s pretty simple: Giannis wants to compete The organization is thinking long-term assets And ultimately, this all comes down to positioning. He wants to come out of this looking like the good guy—which, honestly, has been the play since the summer when Shams first reported on all of it.

Did you know that the embargo from the US means that Cuba isn't allowed to trade with ANY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD?! You'd think it would be only America, and that the EU or China or Japan or Russia would love the cancer vaccine. But nope. My British friend who went to Cuba on holiday 10 years in a row was amazed when he learned that he wasn't allowed to visit. The blame is Donald Trump's of course, because my British friend started vacations to Cuba in 2002, and Trump was a living person then.

They also have a perpetual motion machine, a cold fusion reactor, and solar panels that generate the same amount of energy at night. But those imperialist running dogs just won't let the rest of the world have access to this incredible communist technology!

From a team source: sounds like the Bucks will waive Andre Jackson Jr. early next week in order to convert Pete Nance to a standard contract. Nance has two games left on his two-way deal; he's been active for 48 games and seen the floor in 36. Milwaukee has 13 games remaining.

Many scoffed when Ed Policy said his #1 priority was to keep the Packers in Green Bay. It’s an exceptionally difficult task to pull off as the team faces a constant uphill battle financially. Lots of work has been done to build up Titletown to stay competitive with additional revenue sources, but their “rainy day fund” is a tiny drop of water in Lake Michigan compared to what other teams have available. Staying financially competitive and viable is job number 1 indeed, and they are probably going to have to do some unpopular things like stadium naming rights to stay in the game.

Packers president and CEO Ed Policy fears the potential impact of the NFL's new economics on the publicly-owned team's ability to compete. nbcsports.com/nfl/profootbal…
