Many european nations don't have free speech so technically its illegal to not limit speech in those nations. As americans we view this as morally wrong but I dont have an issue with X not going rogue in Germany because its not our culture and not our laws. What got us angry is when people started to force their personal morals on american speech and set up sudo speech laws in a free speach nation. This violates our culture and laws. I think people pointing out how X needs to not be a free speech platform in many european nations is really highlighting how backwards the old world can still be. They are still a bit too afraid of their own citizens.

NEWS: X is complying with more German requests compared to pre-acquisition when it comes to identifying users in Hate speech cases, German prosecutors say. This has raised concerns among civil liberties advocates, due to the strict and broad nature of Germany's hate speech laws.
