@Thami_Naps Multiplying 2 and (3) is not part of the brackets step. If it was, then 2(2+1)^2 would be 36, which is obviously wrong.

Solve what's in the brackets first hence BODMAS (Brackets over/before Division/Multiplication/Addition/Subtraction) meaning you solve till there isn't any brackets:

6÷2(3)
Remove brackets
