…Because in 30 years, I’ve done nothing but collect information, knowledge, and your secrets…. I know so many things I shouldn’t know, and they all know it. 🤝 ~ Stay strong friends. 💪🏻 Your courage and steadfastness will triumph. ✨ Love always wins. 💕

I disagree with making children earn play time at the local park. These are important social bonding and developmental activities. Mine had a set of age-appropriate chores. They received allowance in physical cash each week. We opened a bank account with a physical ledger, and they went to the bank to deposit or withdraw money. An ATM card came later. Any toys outside birthday or Christmas wish lists had to be saved for and purchased with allowance money. When they count out cash for something they want and hand it to a cashier, they learn about saving and spending. If the parent always manages the reward, the child doesn’t build the full connection. By middle school, I would deduct the allowance amount for not doing chores—a double whammy of sorts. For big-ticket items like Disney, make that a separate earning task—like reading a certain number of books or learning to shop for and prepare a certain number of meals—in essence, learning a new skill.

have you vibe coded anything for / with your kids? pretty proud of my chore app. baseline expectations [brush teeth, make bed, put dishes in dishwasher after use] unlock wifi access. additional chores / bonus tasks are rewarded in tokens that can be redeemed in a parent defined ‘marketplace.’ mine ranges from trips to local playgrounds, to the lego store with tiered budgets & all the way up to disneyland. would love to hear how other people are incorporating vibe coded products into their parenting

I also cooked chicken wings last night just with a little butter and salt, baked in the oven at 425°F for 1.5 hours. Almost forgot about them while reading X — you can tell 😅

The Aster family, scientifically known as Asteraceae, is one of the largest families of flowering plants, with over 32,000 species in more than 1,900 genera. These plants are characterized by their unique flower heads, which are actually clusters of many small flowers, and they occur in diverse habitats worldwide. This family includes herbaceous plants, shrubs, vines, and even trees. **Flower Structure** • Inflorescence: Composite flower heads known as capitula, consisting of: - Ray flowers: Strap-shaped, forming the outer part of the head. - Disc flowers: Smaller central flowers, often lacking petals. Growth habits range from annual to biennial to perennial. They grow wild and are cultivated in habitats from deserts to tropics, excluding Antarctica. The Asteraceae family is economically important: • Many species are cultivated for food. • Many are popular in landscaping and ornamental gardening. • Some are used in traditional herbal medicine. Well-known members include: • Aster (many garden favorites) • Chrysanthemum (mums) • Helianthus (sunflowers) • Rudbeckia (black-eyed Susans) The family plays a key role in ecosystems by providing nectar for pollinators and supporting biodiversity. If you enjoy gardening and cooking, follow along for more. Questions welcome—I’m happy to answer based on my knowledge and experience. The snow in the backyard is full of various tracks made by hares, foxes, pheasants, crows, magpies, squirrels and the neighbour’s mischievous cat! For hubby’s brunch: cucumber, mandarin, watermelon, honeydew melon, Cantaloupe melon, avocado, apple, kiwi, bell pepper, cheeses.

This is me in my dream house, wearing old-fashioned clothes, sitting on antique furniture, with the lions above for protection. If you knew me IRL, you’re ROFL right now because this suits me perfectly. 😂 If you don’t, you’re wondering if I’m just a pretentious bitch… Either way, the poodle stays. 🐩
